The Moroccan Royal Federation of Sports Aerobics, Fitness, Hip Hop and Assimilated Disciplines organizes the international event Breakdance@Rabat4Africa from May 3rd till 13th 2023

Under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him , as part of Rabat African Capital of Culture 2022 , the Moroccan Royal Federation of Sports Aerobics, Fitness, Hip Hop and Assimilated Disciplines organizes the international event Breakdance@Rabat4Africa from May 3rd till 13th 2023 , in partnership with the ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication and the ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports.
This event will include :
The “WDSF Breaking Continental Championships Africa”: qualifying for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games , at the Mohammed V National Theater on May 12th and 13th, 2023 ;
First African Breakdance competition under the aegis of the World Dance Sport Federation.This championship will reconfirm the role of the Kingdom as a continental pioneer in the promotion of this art which has become an Olympic discipline.
Cultural festivities: Breakdance@Rabat4AFRICA :
An artistic program highlighting Hip Hop and Breakdance culture :
Hip Hop/ Breakdance initiations and shows for young audiences at Hassan II Park on May 3rd and 10th, 2023 ;
Le Quai des artistes on the Esplanade of Bouregreg, from May 10th to 13th, 2023, which will include: Breaking, DJying, Slam, Beat-Box, Graffiti, and Batucada workshops, as well as Hip-hop and Breakdance street-shows ;
An international seminar under the theme “Hip Hop and Breakdance Culture, an ambition for Africa” in partnership with the Mohammed V University , at the Faculty of Legal, Economic and Social Sciences of Souissi, on May 11th, 2023. It will be led by international and Moroccan experts . This seminar will study the evolution of these cultural and sporting practices, but will also look at the best way to put them at the service of young Africans ;
Continental contests of Breaking and Slam on social medias. Open from April 10th to may 13th :
An opportunity for the practitioners to participate and win the African Prize offered by Rabat, Capital of Culture ;
A concert at the Mohammed V National Theater on May 13th, 2023 :
African countries are invited to participate in these prestigious festivities, hosted by the distinguished city of Rabat. Being a true consecration for the Kingdom, these events promote the values of peace, respect and solidarity on which the Kingdom of Morocco is proud.
