His Majesty King Mohammed VI indicated in a message addressed to the participants of the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), taking place from October 9 to 15 in Marrakech, that “the hosting of these Annual Meetings by Morocco reflects confidence in the strength of our institutional framework and infrastructure, as well as in our commitment to contribute to the strengthening of international relations.” The Sovereign emphasized that “Morocco’s approach prioritizes economic openness and cooperation,” highlighting that this approach has enabled the Kingdom to align itself with various global agendas, including economic development, combating climate change, as well as the fight against terrorism, money laundering, and the rise of cybersecurity threats resulting from the digital revolution.”
